This special part of México is truly rich in history, arts, culture, architecture, archeology and traditions. It’s our purpose to share all these wonderful treasures with you. Informative and pleasurable trip to Dolores Hidalgo and the amazing church at Atotonilco.
A great trip with two excellent guides to visit the historically important town of Dolores Hidalgo. First was a stop at a large ceramics factory where we got to see the whole process of making the regions' colorful pottery. Then into the town of Dolores Hidalgo to see the church and the Jardin. After that we went into the breathtaking church at Atotonilco. We have seen lots of churches, but this was spectacular. Then a very nice lunch at a restaurant set in lovely gardens, and then home. The guides were really good and whether detailing the ceramic making process or explaining the importance of this area to the Mexican independence presented their information in a way that was interesting and sometimes humorous. This trip is highly recommended, and we will be exploring other trips led by these personable guides. |
